Is Gmail down?
Is Gmail down or am I facing problems with my computer. I tried accessing http://gmail.google.com/ and I am unable to access gmail. However the emails are available on my google desktop. I tried accessing the website using IE and AOL Explorer but nothing seems to work. Is anybody else facing the issue.

Hey there,
I am now not sure if the problem was with Gmail or with my Norton Internet Security [switched off!]. Its working for me now. Kindly read http://iamtagged.blogspot.com/2005/12/norton-was-culprit-eh-gmail-my.html Please tell me if this helps.

1) Check if you can access mail.yahoo.com or hotmail.com
2)If you gave Google talk or google desktop, does it log you in?
I am installing a chat script in a few minutes. Lets chat up.

I still can;t get into gmail.
But I can access hotmail and yahoo.

Simple http may(http://mail.google.com/mail/) work.Make sure you do not log into your account via https (https://mail.google.com/mail/)
connexion. Just another options
